Add a half cup of vinegar to a warm bath water to ease skin irritation.  A bath of oatmeal can also relieve itching. Prepare the bath in fifteen minutes by cooking two cups of oatmeal with two liters of water.  The mixture should be put in a cotton bag and sealed tight. Place the bag in a tub filled with warm water. Let it stay in the tub while the person infected with chicken pox shingles bathes.

    External applications can also be done. Try the following treatments for chicken pox shingles. Relieve skin irritation with green pea water. This can be done by boiling fresh peas and using the water as a remedy. Or you can dry the skin with baking soda. Mix baking soda with a glass of water and sponge the infected. This will control the itch. Rubbing the skin with vitamin E oil can also help heal the skin. The oil has a healing effect enhancing the fading of marks.

    Eat the right foods can also help treat chicken pox shingles. A well balanced diet never gets old. Include fruits and vegetables in your daily diet. It is also recommended to drink juice especially lemon juice. Doing this is considered beneficial and important.
